Our journey began with a clear mission: to leverage the strong connections of our founders, Bill Kao and Kevan Seng, to facilitate and broker international trade deals. Before Eagleton: FDA Medical Supplies Inc.
Before the inception of Eagleton, our team was actively involved in sourcing and brokering under another company, FDA Medical Supplies Inc. This company was instrumental in our initial steps into the world of global trade. Through FDA Medical Supplies Inc., we developed expertise in sourcing essential medical supplies, including personal protective equipment (PPE) such as masks, gloves, sanitizer, gowns, and copper salt, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
2020: Responding to Global Needs
During 2020, as the world grappled with the COVID-19 pandemic, FDA Medical Supplies Inc. rose to the challenge by sourcing and providing critical PPE to meet the urgent needs of healthcare professionals and the general public.
2021: Expanding Our Portfolio
In 2021, we diversified our sourcing activities by including beef suet for buyers in China. Additionally, we began sourcing wheat, barley, and sorghum, further expanding our reach into the food and agriculture sector and establishing our reputation as a reliable supplier of high-demand commodities.
2022: Promoting Health and Wellness
By 2022, we broadened our horizons by focusing on exporting Canadian health supplements to China. This initiative underscored our commitment to promoting health and wellness, leveraging Canada’s renowned health products to meet the growing demand in the Chinese market.
2023: Bridging Cultural Exchanges and Founding Eagleton
Our innovative spirit led us in 2023 to bridge film co-productions between North America and China, fostering greater understanding and collaboration between the East and the West. This same year, recognizing the potential to expand beyond medical supplies, we founded Eagleton.ca. This new venture allowed us to encompass a wider range of commodities and services.
